My name is Eric Chen.

I’m a medical oncologist in the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology in the hospital.

I’m specialized in treating patients with cancer from the GI (gastrointestinal) track. So from esophagus, stomach, to the colon and rectum and everything in between.

So, stomach cancer is actually one of the most common cancers worldwide. Each year there’s about 1 million people diagnosed with stomach cancer in the world.

The development of stomach cancer is related to diet and a particular bacterial infection called H. pylori.

I think that we do provide the best care to patients and I think that’s why patients come here.
